星期六的时候，我闲着无聊，于是我就看了看我的含羞草。我觉得它十分美丽，就摸了一下。结果他的叶子一下子合拢了。我不知道为什么，于是就去问了问我的.父亲,他说：“可能是受到外界的刺激才会这样的。但是它合拢起来后，不一会有张开了。
我带着这个问题去问了许多人，有人说：可能是受了刺激，有的说：可能是不好意思。哎。各种各样的答案到底哪个才是正确的呢？
后来我听到有人说：含羞草预示着下雨只有它一合拢就预示着要下雨。我的心里又再问：含羞草怎么预示下雨呢？
有一天，我没有去摸它，它却自己合起来了，我想起了那个人说的话，只要含羞草一合起来就会下雨，于是我打开窗户看了看天，发现有好几块乌云在空中漂浮。我几乎相信了那个人说的是真的，过了一会，天上开始飘雨了，我自己都不敢相信这是真的，后来我发现雨下了多久，含羞草就合拢了多久，太阳一出来，含羞草的叶子就像复活了一样快速张开。由此我得出结论，天涯不看含羞草会预示天气，只要一合拢就会下雨了，张开了就将晴空万里。

《夏目友人帐》主要讲述了男主人公夏目贵志拥有可以看到妖怪的特殊能力。因为父母双亡他的性格较为孤僻，并且由于他具有特殊的能力，他常辗转在于亲戚之间并被同龄人欺负。虽然他经历了许多不幸，但他依旧有好善良没有埋怨任何人。最终他被有好善良的藤原夫妇收养并进入高中。有一天，他被妖怪追赶躲进神社，不小心打破了一只强大妖怪斑的封印。并牵涉到了他祖母夏目玲子的'遗物—一本同妖怪签订的契约书。之后，这只强大的妖怪平时便变成猫的样子待在夏目身边保护他，但是他的条件是夏目后要把这本契约书给它。但在此之前夏目决定尽其所能把契约书上的名字还给妖怪们让它们得到自由。由此，一个个温馨、感人、惊险的故事就此展开。
