I was born in a beautiful town with high mountains around it.The mountains are covered with all kinds of green bamboo.Through the town runs a small stream.It’s said that a new railway is going to be built to the east of the town and a bamboo factory to the west.All the children of the school age can go to school.If anyone is ill,he can go to see the doctor in the newly-built hospital.People in the town are hard-working and never take the backwardness lying down.Though they are having a richer and better life,they are not satisfied with what they have got.They are working hard to build their town into a modern one.

2月21日上午，我、爸爸和妈妈等一行十几人驱车去广西南宁青秀山游玩。
一到停车场，刚下车，我就知道了什么叫人山人海、车水马龙。青秀山大门的入口处堵得水泄不通，到处都有人。游玩下山的人满脸都是笑，正打算进门的人却是满脸忧愁，好像在说：“呀！这么多人，怎么去游玩啊？”
走进大门，只见大路两旁的树木茂盛极了。它们好像一把把大伞，把炎热挡在外面，把清凉带给游客。它们又好像一个个士兵，保护着青秀山的一花一草和一群生机勃勃、活泼可爱的小动物。一路上，我还看到了许多不知名的植物。其中有一种花极为特别，有些像蒲公英。花是深红色的，好像一个毛茸茸的大绒团，被周围的绿叶映托着，漂亮极了。似乎在说：“我真漂亮呀！你们都不如我。”不过这种花在青秀山上很常见，一眼望去，几乎到处都是。
我们一路欢声笑语，边走边玩，不知不觉达到了山顶。山顶上有一个桃花岛，那里的桃花已盛开，好多游客在那里拍照留念。
最令人高兴的事情是我们见到了小松鼠。堂妹小予听说我去年暑假在青秀山上见过松鼠，所以这次她就是冲着看小松鼠去的。上山的路上，她一直在念叨为什么没有见着松鼠呢。下山的路上，我突然看到路旁的树上有一条棕色的大尾巴。我激动地大声喊叫：“松鼠！松鼠！我看到了松鼠！”堂妹立马跑过来，也跟着兴奋地大叫：“松鼠！真的是松鼠！”我们的叫喊引起路人注意，大家都凑过来看松鼠。我从爸爸手中抢过我们事先带去的松子喂它。大概是我们的过于热情，小松鼠一下子就跑进草丛里不见了。我们仍呆在原地久久不愿离去，多么希望它能再次现身，但它最终没有再出现。不过，我们希望能看到小松鼠的心愿已经实现了。
这次青秀山之行，我玩得很开心！
