故事是说：在一个狼部队里，有一只叫灰满的狼腿断了，连走路都不能走，在弱肉强食的狼世界里成了一头孤独的残狼。而另外一只在狼群里最被瞧不起的狼——黄鼬，坚持天天在灰满的腹底撑着它，作它的拐杖，帮助它行走。在长时间艰苦训练中，黄鼬不知被摔了多少次，背上也压出了马鞍形，但她仍全力帮助灰满。最终，灰满从黄鼬身上扑向公原羚，以同归于尽的方式，成就了灰满的英雄壮举。
