As we all know, China is a country with a large population. Ifeach family has a car, a large amount of energy would be wasted and air pollution would become more and more serious. Finally, most Chinese people don’ t live far away from where they work or study, it is convenient to ride bicycles. I think that is why bicycles are used so much.
Bicycles are so popular in China that China is often referred to as the kingdom of bicycles. I hope more and more people can ride bicycles in order to make our planet better and cleaner.

仲春，周未，我们一家人驱车前往。天公作美，飘落起柔柔的雨丝，素颜的柳叶湖甚是好看。
一排排杨柳立在湖边，一阵阵微风迎面抚过，柳絮飞扬，柳条在蒙蒙细雨中轻舞摇曳，似小姑娘的额头青丝。深吸一口气，柳叶的清新夹杂着泥土的芬芳，沁人心脾……
柳叶湖位于常德城郊，水域面积21。8平方公里。水面常年洁净透明，微波起伏，比杭州西湖还要秀美，故有“中国城市第一湖”之美誉。
古人云：“堤柳渔歌，松风水蒂，比极其胜。”这描写的便是柳叶湖畔的美景。
还有比柳叶湖美景更动人的传说呢！很久以前，有一个以砍柴为生的樵夫——刘海住在武陵丝瓜井，家有双目失明的老母亲，生活非常贫困。他靠着忠厚和勤劳，支撑起了家里的生活，还赢得了狐仙的爱慕。狐仙于是变化成少女胡秀英，暗中帮助刘海，最终也赢得了刘海那颗善良真诚的心。于是，以柳树为媒，青山作证，在柳叶湖畔两人结为夫妻。这便是有名的“刘海砍樵”的故事。这也是这潭灵秀的湖水碧波翻涌、千年不枯的`奥妙。
其实，柳叶湖畔的故事并不只有这些，还有梁王宫、白鹤寺、报恩观、太和观、清真寺的传说，更有隐园、镇妖塔、仙人洞、月亮山、烂船洲的典故。就连我国古代著名诗人屈原、刘禹锡也与这潭湖水有着不解之缘呢！
天空渐渐放晴，凉风习习，漫步柳叶湖畔，湖面波光粼粼，我们便有了湖面泛舟的雅兴。
上了船，置身宽阔宁静的湖面，木伐来回搅动，船身的倒影便在水面荡漾开来。远方有笛声悠然响起，待去寻，却又若有若无。
有位诗人曾在此写道：“山无阳朔气嵯峨，水比西湖绿许多。春光十分惠常德，七分都在柳叶波。”如今看来，果真名不虚传啊！
时光静逝，转眼间，夕阳即落。天空一片火红，似骄阳却胜骄阳。
一只白色的大鸟在水面上悠然的飞着，双翅不时地点入水中，击起阵阵涟漪……
