坐在飞机上，看到银川的贺兰山时，我惊得目瞪口呆，在北京的山上还是树木茂盛，而到这里的山却是光秃秃的，看不见一点生机。
到达了银川，我们打车去了水洞沟，一进景区，我才算领略了荒凉二字的意思，这里寸草不生，后面的山也看不见一点绿色，不一会儿我们到了水洞沟博物馆，在那里我了解到了过去这里也有人居住，他们生活了很久，但是突然有一天，自然灾害来了，地震、火山喷发，大雨连续下了几天几夜。人们实在无法生存，只得移居别处。
出了博物馆，我们乘坐电瓶车来到了明代长城，残破不堪。我骑着骆驼走在茫茫的大戈壁滩上领略着古长城的风采。是一种从未有过的清净，下了骆驼我们去坐船，接着是马车、竹筏子和骆驼车，经过了这颠簸的一路，我们来到了主要景点——藏兵洞，这里主要讲述古人挖的一个地道，这里共有三个洞，连在一起，四通八达，有将军洞、储藏室、兵器库、水井、议事大厅等。还有很多陷阱，有的陷阱不但能够击敌人，还有报信功能，敌人来了，还可以堵住路口。一箭三雕，敌人进得来却出不去。这个洞长8.3公里，高2米，宽1.6米。洞内十分凉快，每个洞又连分洞，分洞又连着分分洞，让敌人搞不清方向，迷乱在洞内。
出了藏兵洞，我们便乘坐“拉风的”拖拉机出了景区，便结束了荒凉之旅，准备新的起航。
