5月1日是国际劳动节，劳动的人要休息，庆祝这个节日，那我这个平常不做什么劳动的小学生就要在家里主动劳动喽。
这天早晨，我和爸爸妈妈起床吃过早饭就开始忙了起来。妈妈打开洗衣机准备开始洗衣服。我跑来跑去，一会儿给妈妈递衣服，一会儿给妈妈递洗衣粉，妈妈可高兴了，说我是个好帮手。大衣服都让妈妈洗了，那小衣服就该我洗了。我拿来一个小盆，往里面倒进了一些水，把袜子一只只放进盆里，它们像一只只小企鹅似的，跳进了澡盆里，我拿起肥皂，帮它们洗澡。不一会儿，它们就变得干干净净了。
洗完袜子后，我又去扫地。我拿起扫把，从客厅开始扫起。我仔细地扫着，一个小垃圾和一个小纸屑也不肯放过。扫完后，我又开始拖地，我把先拖把打湿之后，拧干，然后一间房一间房地拖。拖完地后，我叫妈妈来检查我的劳动成果，妈妈说我干得非常好，鼓励我下次继续。
虽然我干了这么多活，但是我还是闲不住，想继续干点什么。突然，我想到了：收拾房间!我每次在家里只知道乱摆东西，从来不知道收拾东西。今天我要来尝试一下怎么收拾了。首先，我把不经常用的书放进书柜里，然后，把经常用的书放进了纸箱里;接着，我又把衣服叠好，放进衣柜里;最后，我把一些小杂物放进了杂物盒里。
“唉，终于干完了!”我长叹了一口气，坐在沙发上休息。妈妈见我坐下休息了，马上坐到我身旁语重心长地说：“宝贝，今天你可体会到了劳动得辛苦了吧!其实劳动并不容易，所以国家才规定每年的5月1日为劳动节，让劳动人民能够休息，庆祝一下自己的节日。”
通过今天的劳动，虽然感觉有些累，但是心里还是感到很有成就感，同时也体会到了妈妈的辛苦。正是有了妈妈的辛苦劳动，家里才变得井井有条，干净卫生。也正是因为有了辛苦劳动的农民伯伯，我们才有了粮食和蔬菜吃;有了辛苦劳动的建筑工人;我们才有了高楼大厦;有了辛苦劳动的医务工作者，人们的健康和生命才有了保障。也正是有了无数各行各业辛苦劳动的人们，我们的生活才变得更加美好。我由衷地感叹：“劳动最光荣”!

在五一节里，我、爸爸和妈妈去了贺兰山苏欲口国家森林公园游玩。
苏欲口国家森林公园位于宁夏首府银川市区25公里的贺兰山自然保护区内，它由青松岭、樱桃谷、灵光塔三个景区近几百个景点组成。
苏欲口国家森林公园山体巍峨，森林茂密，自然风光秀丽，人文景观独特，野生动物植物资源众多，旅游服务设施齐全，是宁夏的生态景区。
我们买了三张票，坐车到了苏欲口的大门，我股了股劲，往上面冲。爬山也够累的，我踏着脚下的台阶，一点一点往上走，走到了一个阴凉处，我回头看了一下爸爸妈妈，哇，不看不知道，一看吓一跳!我走的够慢的`了，可爸爸妈妈比我还慢一大截呢!
等到了爸爸妈妈，我们又走了半个小时，我们到了青松岭，青松岭之所以叫青松岭，是因为那里的山岭上到处都有青绿的青松，远看去，就像一片绿色的海洋，我们照了几张相，在照片上留下了美好的回忆。
我们在亭子里休息了一会儿，就去了灵光塔。灵光塔好高呀，太阳都快把我晒了。我们边走边休息，最终还是上去了。灵光塔下面有许多桌椅，我们先吃了饭，就买了票去灵光塔上看看。
到了灵光塔顶，我用望远镜看去，领略到了苏欲口的山体巍峨，峡谷险峻，青松挺拔使我感受到了大自然的神奇，生命力之顽强。
最后我们去了贺兰山博物馆。贺兰山博物馆地处苏欲口国家森林公园迎宾区，占地面积3万平方米，建筑面积3千平方米左右，总投人名币近千万。该馆由珍惜动物馆、植物馆、昆虫馆、珍禽馆、奇石馆、根艺馆、历史文化馆、矿产资源馆等13个馆组成。展有大熊猫、东北虎、金钱豹、羚牛、金雕、马鹿、岩羊、四合木、沙冬青、蒙古扁桃等数百个国家重点保护的动植物标本，具有较高的历史、科学、艺术、观赏价值。博物馆造型设计新颖，陈列内容丰富，并采用了先进的声、光、电程控技术，在国内堪称一流。贺兰山博物馆绿化、美化、亮化面积已达馆区面积的百分之七十，四周环绕有潺潺流水和叠叠喷泉，花草树木争奇斗艳，环境优美，景色宜人，是广大游客和青少年进行爱国主义教育、科普知识教育的场所。
通过这一次游玩，我学到了不少的知识，还懂得了做任何事不能半途而废，只要坚持不屑的努力，就一定能够成功!在学习中也是一样的，学习就像爬山。遇到问题要积极思考，要找到解决问题的方法。

They don't realize that wasting time is actually equal to killing themselves. They always regret not having made great achievements. One of the reasons may be they do not make good use of time. Therefore, in order to be successful, they should first get into the habit of being on time. It’s a sign of cherishing time. Don't put off what can be done today until tomorrow. Being lazy will eventually lead to failure. Don't wait, because you don't know how long it will take when you put off your plan.
The more we are aware of the significance of this famous saying, the more benefits we will get in study or job.
