As is shown above, a leader father is sitting in the chair with a seal grasping in the hand, and a lot of money beside him. He seriously said to his son that there is more to life than just money -it is power. Simple as the picture is, but a profound truth is reveled in the picture.
I surely disagree with father ’s philosophy. As a leader, he shouldn ’t use his power to make money. It is his duty to serve people wholeheartedly, just one person said “with great power comes great responsibility ”. If he stick to his philosophy. I believe that he will spend the rest of his life in prison. What’s worse, he could affect his son ’s philosophy, guiding him in the opposite direction , nothing can be done to reverse the trend itself. The only solution is to change father ’s philosophy. Because of many greedy officials in China, it is time to reverse the trend itself by establishing new policy. As Chinese always has been our confidence that we can change for the better and better.
In my opinion, there is more to to life than just money -it is happiness, nothing is important than happiness. We can live a colorful life in our spare time.

五年级英语故宫游玩作文【二】
今年暑假，我的母校-湄江二小举办了一次游览重庆、西安、北京的夏令营活动，我也参加了。
在北京游览的几天时间里，我们参观了天安门的降旗仪式、故宫、八达岭长城、中国航空博物馆、北京大学、清华大学......其中我印象最深刻的便是游览故宫的经历了。
故宫就是我们常说的紫禁城，为什么要叫它紫禁城呢?与我们同行的导游叔叔告诉我们：古时候，皇帝也称天子、皇上，而天子的意思是天帝的儿子，而传说中的天帝居住在天上的紫宫禁地，因为故宫自明清以来共有24位皇帝在此执掌天下，所以它又叫做紫禁城。
游览故宫，可以从天安门进，也可以从故宫的后门--神武门进。我们参观故宫时是从天安门进的，进入天安门过端门后，便开始了我们的故宫之旅。
穿过一片广场后，我们便来到紫禁城的正门，也就是午门。古时候，皇帝对犯错的大臣处以杖责之刑时就在这个地方，导游叔叔对我们说：明武宗时，有一年，武宗皇帝下令到江南各地选秀，许多大臣不同意，联名上书武宗，希望他能收回成命，谁料武宗皇帝接到上书后大怒，下令在午门杖了11位上书的大臣。
听完了导游叔叔的话后，我不禁感慨万千，连当时国家的栋梁之才，仅仅因为这次上书就丢了性命，真不值当时百姓的生活是多么的苦不堪言啊!
过了午门之后，又有一大片广场，广场中间有一条御河穿过，河上有座金水桥，流经广场的御河从高处看，极像一张弓，那蓄势待发的攻势，给人一种震慑人心的感觉。
走过金水桥，经过太和门，便来到了宏伟的太和殿，太和殿是故宫里的三大殿之一，其余两大殿分别是中和殿和保和殿。在蔚蓝色的天空下，太和殿威武地矗立着，那朱红色的宫墙和大门，屋顶上盖着的黄色的琉璃瓦互相衬托，在耀眼的阳光下，显得更加金碧辉煌。太和殿俗称金銮殿，在古代这里是举行皇帝登基、大婚等重大仪式的地方，由于我们去时太和殿正在维修，所以我们未能有幸近距离的一睹她的尊容，只能远远的观望，这使我感到特别的遗憾。
过太和殿后，便是中和殿和保和殿了，在以前，中和殿是皇帝出席重大典礼前休息和接受朝拜的地方，保和殿则是皇帝赐宴和殿试的场所。两大殿里的陈设金钟玉磬，奢华无比......游览完三大殿，我不得不感叹：我国古代劳动人民的智慧和创造力，这里的一殿一阁，一砖一瓦，都是他们智慧的结晶。
过了乾清门，我们便来到了古代皇帝和他的后妃居住的地方，以前，我们经常听人说，古时候的皇帝有“三宫六院，七十二嫔妃”，而其中的“三宫”指的是：乾清宫、交泰殿、坤宁宫。六院指的`是：“东六宫和西六宫”，这些宫殿是嫔妃居住的地方。“七十二嫔妃”则指的是皇帝的老婆人数。除了皇后居住在坤宁宫外，其余的妃嫔则分别居住在“东六宫和西六宫".乾清宫是皇帝居住和处理政务的地方，交泰殿则是举行册封皇后、太子、过千秋(皇后的生日、万寿(皇帝的生日等中的节日庆典的地方。
参观完“三宫和六院”后，往坤宁宫北面走，我们便来到古代皇帝、后妃、皇子、皇女游玩的地方---御花园。一进入御花园，映入我的眼帘的便是高耸的松柏，珍贵的花木;山石亭阁掩映在绿树红花之中，踩着由五色石子铺成的小路，看着周围美丽的景色，我不知不觉的沉醉其中了，这里的花是那么的鲜艳而美丽，这里的草是那么的青葱而可爱，这里的亭台楼阁是那么的古朴而典雅......光阴似箭，日月如梭，当初建造这里的人和享受过这里美丽景色的人，都已被淹没在历史的长河之中了，但她却依然停留在这里，不曾改变。经过几百年时光的洗礼，她已不再是当初那青涩的少女了，她举手投足之间多了几分端庄持重，但这丝毫没有影响她的美丽，反而更增添了几分魅惑人心的韵味!
古时候，她的美丽，只能被少数人欣赏，而今，她已向公众撩开了她神秘的面纱，向世人绽放出它独特的魅力与风采，引得一批批游客为之流连忘返......
游览完御花园后，已是中午时分，我们也要结束了这次故宫之旅了，由神武门出宫后，我回头看了看身后的故宫，在阳光的照耀下，它显得更加的庄严肃穆.......

今年暑假，我们全家前往北京。那天早上，我们出发很早，在旅馆吃完饭后，我们便来到了“故宫博物院”。故宫，就是我们现在常说的紫禁城，是明清两代的皇宫，也是中国现存最完整的古建筑。
我们买好了观光车的票，坐车的途中，我听到了柳枝触碰的沙沙声，听到了嘻嘻哈哈小孩子的声音，就像一支欢快的交响乐。我看见了平静无波的湖面，我看见了照相的人群，我看见了红瓦白墙的房子，就像一幅栩栩如生的图画。当这么美的图画，合上欢快的交响乐，别提有多美妙了。
不一会儿，我们便来到了“午门”，只见午门人山人海。我们找了许久，才找到了一个位置，照下了午门。
过了午门便是金水桥，过桥进过太和门，就是三大殿。
三大殿分为：“太和殿”、“中和殿”和“保和殿”。“太和殿”是皇上登基、大婚等举行重大仪式的地方;“中和殿”是皇上出席重大典礼前休息的地方;“保和殿”则是皇帝赐宴和殿试的地方。保和殿的意思是永远保持与大臣、与邻国之间的友谊、和平。
接下来就是皇上生活的地方，比如“乾清宫”、“交泰殿”、“坤宁宫”。乾清宫是皇上居住、处理事务的地方，交泰殿是册封皇后、以及皇后生日都在此举行，坤宁宫是皇后居住的地方。还有东西两侧的东六宫和西六宫，就是我们常听到的三宫六院。
听导游说，乾清宫的乾是天的意思，坤宁宫的坤是地的意思，合起来是天清地宁的意思。皇帝修房子很讲究，皇帝是天帝的儿子，天帝有一万间房，所以皇帝的房子是9999.5间房。而每个房门上的钉子是横竖九颗，皇帝以五行的五为中心，恰好五在门钉上横竖在中间，这就代表了“九五之尊”的圣上。
最后，我们由后门——神武门出。“故宫博物院”几个大字刻在门口。这就是古代劳动人民用15年才修建好的雄伟、壮丽的宫殿。
故宫到处都有美丽的景色，带你细细的去欣赏。

我们开车到了野鸭湖，野鸭湖真漂亮啊!到处挂满鲜艳的彩旗，来游玩的人非常多，他们都在玩自己喜欢的游戏，有的小朋友在玩荡秋千，有的.在玩攀岩，有的在玩水上步行球……。我决定去玩“爬电网”和“过溜索”。
“爬电网”就是把绳子打成结，结成网状，离地面有好几米高，看上去挺吓人的。我刚上去的时候觉得很好玩，爬到最高处就有点害怕了，但我还是爬到了终点。
玩了“爬电网”我就去玩“过溜索”。“过溜索”就是在人的身上结上安全带，从湖的一边滑到另一边。当叔叔把安全带套在我身上时，我问叔叔这会不会掉下去，万一掉下去怎么办。叔叔说：小朋友，不要怕，这很安全的，像小鸟一样就飞过去了，很好玩的。我听了叔叔的话，一点都不害怕，真的就像小鸟一样飞过去了，太好玩了，我真想再飞一次，下次我一定还要玩溜索。
今天玩得真开心，要是天天都像这样那该多好呀!
