我们都好久没有见面了，等到过新年时，你就来到我的家乡—郑州吧。
我的家乡郑州也称为“绿城。”因为这里有很大的绿化面积，路边到处都是一颗颗高大挺拔的雪松、梧桐树…….它们好像一个个士兵，来保护我们美丽的家乡。到了骄阳似火的夏天，这些绿油油的大树仿佛是一把把大伞，为我们带来了阴凉，而且在公园里面，就能看见一朵朵美丽的荷花，从荷叶中间往上冒，像一位位亭亭玉立的少女。
郑州科技发达，也是现代繁华都市。这里到处都是高楼大厦，交通顺畅。这里还有一些大型的商场，里面卖的东西真是玲琅满目的，有吃的、穿的、玩的……..想买什么都有。更著名的就是闻名中外的中原福塔，高约389米，是郑州市最高的`现代建筑。站到塔的上面往远处眺望，郑州市的五分之一都可以被看的一清二楚。
郑州是八大古都之一，因为这里有几段历史和许多名胜古迹。就以郑州的少林寺为例，一放假，那里就人山人海，把少林寺堵得水泄不通。有一年，俄罗斯总统来这里看过一场有趣的戏，还夸赞这场戏表演的很好。
