我的家乡在剑阁，那儿有一座雄伟、壮观的城楼――剑门关。
剑门关是历史幽久的地方，也是三国时候姜维阵守之地，我看到上面还有他的大道旗呢！我顺着大门里的楼梯上了城楼。登高远望，看到了一座座连绵起伏的远山。接着，我又顺着楼梯走向剑门关里的一座山的山角，我看到有一些兵器和盔甲，如：“青龙堰月刀、红缨枪、头盔等。”然后，我又顺着山路走到了子女峰，我一看那里的路，顿时使我倒吸一口冷气，那儿的路还不到30厘米宽，下面是悬崖峭壁，旁边有许多铁链子，我抓紧了铁链子小心翼翼地向上走，终于走过了最险要的地方。我想：“剑门关真是易难攻，一夫当关、万夫莫开的好地方。”
剑门关壁立千仞，横亘绵延。若天垒城郭，历来为兵家必争之地，唐代诗人李白《蜀道难》中有云：“黄鹤之飞沿不得过，猿猱欲渡悉攀援”，极写剑门关之艰、险、难。“翠云廊”古驿道以县城为中心，南至阆中，西接梓潼，北达昭化，蜿蜒三百余里，号称“三百里程十万树”，道旁古柏参天蔽日，多系明代栽植，是世界是保存了完整，规模最大的古柏群。中有一株奇特树种，松柏枝叶杂生，被命名为“剑阁柏木”，目前发现的仅此一株，被誉为“国之珍宝”。
