绕过游乐场，来到它的后方，就是流花湖了。湖水静得像一面镜子，树那深绿色叶子的影子倒映在水中，水似乎被这些“颜料”染绿了。还有一些小船在湖面上慢慢地滑着。
走到湖的靠左边，可以清楚地看见湖中心有一个小岛。岛上种满了一棵棵的大树，从树丛里隐隐约约可以看见几间没人住的小房子的屋顶。游人走过一条在水面上的小路，就可以到岛上玩了。这条小路高出水面约50厘米，旁边没有任何栏杆，是一条用用泥建成的小路。
