夜幕悄悄笼罩着整座城市。此刻，已是万家灯火的时候了!大街上出来散步的行人越来越多。大街上，立交桥上，沉睡了一天的路灯都渐渐揉开了惺忪的双眼。
我托着腮帮趴在窗台上，望着窗外散发着幽幽光芒的路灯深深思索着。路灯――它是平凡的。可是就这么平凡的一盏盏路灯却照亮了每一年365个夜晚!可以想象：没有路灯的世界将会是一片黑暗。循着视线望去，那一位位迎风而立的卫士高高耸立着，使人不寒而悚，它们仿佛在保卫着城市。可以说，路灯是伟大的，可它一直在默默无闻地为人类服务着。匆匆而行的路人，飞速行驶的汽车里的司机，从不会去仔细欣赏路灯的内在美，只是在不经意间抬起头发现路灯，可人们还是永远感受不到它们的伟大，它们的可贵。望着这一排排路灯，我的眼睛不由湿润了……
这默默无闻的路灯不正象征着我们辛勤耕耘的老师吗?
