The person I admire is my mum. She is an English teacher. She is very popular among the students because she spends lots of time on her lessons and has a good sense of humor. Students all enjoy her class.
My mum is not only a good teacher, but also a great mother. She is patient with me and always smiling while talking. My mum teaches me how to think independently and helps me to build up my confidence. When I have some difficulties in my studies, it is my mum who encourages me to work until I solve the problem. When I’m feeling sad or bad, it is also my mum who looks after me with care.
I remember when I caught a fever at midnight last year, my mum took me to the hospital as fast as she could. When we got home after my injection, it was about 5 o’clock in the early morning. My mum only slept 2 hours because she had to wake up at 7 o’clock to prepare breakfast for me, and then she went to work. She must be very tired that day.
My mum is not very beautiful, but I admire and love her.

不知过了多久，忽然一声喊叫着：“看啊!长城。”我猛地一下从座位上跳起来向窗外望去，果真是雄伟的长城，憧憬已久的长城!

接着，我们随着人群登上了长城。我的脚一步步地落在那坚实的城砖上，看着这些数不清的条石，一块就有二三千斤重。那时候，没有火车、汽车，没有起重机，就靠着无数的肩膀，无数的手，一步步地抬上这陡峭的山岭。多少劳动人民的汗和智慧，才凝结成这前不见头、后不见尾的万里长城。
短暂而有深意的一天，就这样渡过。我心满意足，因为我领略了古代劳动人民的心和智慧。

来到北京的第三天，一大早我们兴致勃勃地乘车到达了八达岭长城，长城位于北京西北60公里处的延庆县境内，是万里长城最杰出的代表。长城脚下，人声鼎沸，车水马龙，看来“不到长城非好汉”的号召力果真强大。这天烟雨濛濛，云雾缭绕，“轻纱”笼罩之中的长城呈现的是另一种景致，宏伟刚毅却不失柔美……
开始爬长城时，我决定要爬到长城的堡垒!一座堡垒、两座堡垒、三座堡垒……爬到第八座堡垒时，我的体力明显下降。我想：风雨之后才有彩虹，我一定要爬到第十座，而这也是的一座。
我一步又一步艰难地向前行进，往后一瞧，哇!身后的路好陡;再往上一看，呀!前面的路却越来越高，几乎是竖起来的，可真要“爬行”啦!这时，我往四周一瞧，有很多人纷纷往回走，打了退堂鼓。我心想：很多人都不爬了，那我也不爬了吧?但我又转念：好不容易来一次北京，已经定下了的目标，就这样轻易放弃了，怎么行呢?于是，我忍住劳累，暗自鼓劲，继续迈步向前……半小时之后，我终于到达长城之巅!啊!我站在长城的顶，鸟瞰绵延万里的群山，眺望古木参天的森林，抚摸见证历史风雨的城砖，心情无比激动，真有一种前所未有的`喜悦与自豪!

游客们，大家好，我姓李，你们可以叫我李导游。现在我们已经到了八达岭长城，让我给你们介绍一下吧。
远看长城，它像一条巨龙。在崇山峻岭之间蜿蜒盘旋，从东头的山海关到西头的嘉峪关，有一千三百万多里。
从北京出发，不到一百多里就来到长城脚下。这一段长城就修筑咋八达岭上，高大坚固，是用巨大的条石和城砖筑成的，城墙顶上铺着方砖，十分平整，像很宽的马路，五六匹马可以并行。
站在长城上，踏着脚下的方砖，扶着墙上的条石，很自然的想起古代修筑长城的劳动人民来，单看这数不清的条石，一块有两三千斤重，那时候没有火车、汽车，没有起重机，就靠着无数的肩膀无数的手，一步一步的抬上这陡峭的山岭。
游客们，多少劳动人民的汗和智慧才凝结成这前不见头，后不见尾的万里长城啊!
这个气魄雄伟的工程，在世界历已经是一个伟大的奇迹了。
