记得有一次，语文老师布置了一项作业，让我们课下整理好下一节课要用到的资料。这项作业看似难度不大，很多人不一会儿就完成了，我也认真准备了，而且很全面，很充分，就等着老师提问了。
第二天课上，语文老师神采飞扬地讲课，大家都听得很开心。到讨论提问环节了，老师笑呵呵地说：“同学们，我昨天布置的作业大家完成了吗？”“完成了！”“那就一个个的分享自己的成果吧！”老师话音刚落，同学们都纷纷举起手来，可我没有这样做，尽管我准备得很充分，还是不敢把手举起来，因为我没有信心。老师看到大家积极性很高，便面带慈祥之情叫一位同学述说，可是这个同学的回答并不好，老师又接连叫了四五位同学，他们的回答也是漏洞百出，从老师严肃的表情上，我看出老师对大家的表现并不满意。
当老师再一次询问有没有人准备得更充分时，我猛的愣了一下神，我真想举手，可我始终没有动弹。见同桌没有准备资料，我便把自己的递给她看。这时，班里静悄悄的，大家都低着头，怕和老师锐利的目光相碰。老师见同学们没有发言的了，嘴角动了动，想说什么，但终于没有说出来。
就在老师焦急的期待中时，突然，我的同桌举起手，站起来发言了，她把我准备的资料当做蓝本，流利地述说了一遍。随后，班里响起了雷鸣般的掌声，老师高兴地表扬了她，说她回答的最全面，最完整。
唉，本来这个荣誉应该是我的，由于不自信，不敢发言，让同桌占了先！
