1。 头绪分明，脉络清楚
写好记叙文，首先要头绪分明，脉络清楚，明确文章要求写什么。要对所写的事件或人物进行分析，弄清事件发生、发展一直到结束的整个过程，然后再收集选取素材。这些素材都应该跟上述五个“ W ”和一个“ H ”有关。尽管不是每篇记叙文里都必须包括这些“ W ”和“ H ”，但动笔之前，围绕五个“ W ”和“ H ”进行构思是必不可少的。
2。 突出中心，详略得当
在文章的框架确定后，对支持故事的素材的选取是很关键的。选材要注意取舍，应该从表现文章主题的需要出发，分清主次，定好详略。要突出重点，详写细述那些能表现文章主题的重要情节，略写粗述那么非关键的次要情节。面面俱到反而使情节罗列化，使人不得要领。这一点是写好记叙文要解决的一个基本问题，也需要一定的技巧。如：
One night a man came to our house and told me， "There is a family with eight children。 They have not eaten for days。" I took some food with me and went。
When I finally came to that family， I saw the faces of those little children disfigured （破坏外貌） by hunger。 There was no sorrow or sadness in their faces， just the deep pain of hunger。
I gave the rice to the mother。 She divided the rice in two， and went out， carrying half the rice。 When she came back， I asked her， "Where did you go?" she gave me this simple answer， "To my neighbors — they are hungry also!"
3。 用活语言，准确生动
记叙文要用具体的事件和生动的语言对人、事、物加以叙述。一篇好的记叙文的语言既要准确、生动，又要表现力强，这样才能把人、事描写得具体生动，其可读性才强。试比较下面一篇例文修改的前后效果。
原文：
One day Xiaoqiang was wandering away。 He was soon lost among people and traffic。 He could not find the way back home and started crying。 Just then， two young students who were passing by found him standing alone in front of a shop and crying。 They went up to Xiaoqiang and asked him what had happened。 Xiaoqiang told them how he got lost and where he lived。 The two students decided to take him home。 Mother was pleased to see Xiaoqiang come back safe and sound。 She invited the two students into the house and gave them some money， but they didn＇t take it。 She served them with tea but they left。
修改后：
The other day， five-year-old Xiaoqiang left home alone and wandered happily in the street。 After some time， he felt hungry so he wanted to go back home。 But he found he was lost among the crowded people and heavy traffic。 When he could not find the way home， he started and crying。 Just then， two young students who were passing by from school found him sanding crying in front of a shop。 They immediately went up to him。
"Little boy， why are you standing here crying?" they asked。
"I want Mom， I go home。" said the boy， still crying。
"Don＇t worry， we＇ll send you home。"
And they spent the next two hours looking for the boy＇s house。 With the help of a policeman， they finally found it。
When the worried mother saw her son come back safe and sound， she was so thankful and she invited the students into her house。 Gratefully， she offered them some money， saying it was a way to express her thanks， but the young students firmly refused it and left without even a cup of tea。

长春的'北湖公园是个美丽的公园，那里的景色十分优美。早晨，天空格外的蓝；空气格外的新鲜，我和妈妈来到那美丽的北湖公园，走到公园大门前那碧绿碧绿的草冒出了尖尖角，和含苞欲放的鲜花，真是美丽极了！公园主广场里“长春古八景柱”置于广场中央。外侧有十四颗强壮的大榕树和大吉树，它们苍劲古朴。中午，公园主广场里，有的人在跳舞。有的人在下棋。有的小朋友在滑冰。
绕过广场，我和妈妈又来到了莲花池，莲花池也叫荷花池。夏天，荷花像一个个翠玉做的大圆盘，有的高出水面，有的贴在水面上，高高低低铺满了湖面。荷叶看上去又像一个个碧绿的大圆盘，有的像飞碟，有的像一把伞。无边无际的荷叶碧色连天。荷叶的姿态也各不同，有的像在睡觉，躺在宽大的荷叶上进入了梦乡；有的弯着身子，像在给夏哥哥招手，给太阳公公问好；还有的挺直细细的腰，像在聆听着大自然的声音；有的花瓣张开了自己美丽的笑脸，似乎在告诉我们：“看看我的笑脸吧！是多么漂亮呀！”而有的还是花骨朵。饱胀的马上要破裂了似的。真是漂亮极了！
北湖公园的湖水清澈见底，那碧绿的湖水晶莹透亮，像一面美丽的镜子，又像绿宝石那样耀眼。微风一吹，湖面泛起鱼鳞般的波纹，在阳光下，湖面好像撒了一层碎银。湖边还有一颗颗柳树，柳树就像一个姑娘，它们的辫子掉进了湖中，就好像在洗飘柔洗发露。通过生肖桥，我又来到了观音亭，买了包饲料，然后一颗一颗的扔下水里，小鱼们争先恐后的来抢食，这时，一只“飞鱼”摇出水面，挺着苗条的身躯，好像在跳水上芭蕾，这条金鱼的身体是红色的，一条薄纱般大尾巴布满了红色的花纹，远出看，就像一团红艳艳的大绒球。还有一条“水泡眼”的小金鱼，鼓着两只灯泡似的大眼睛，拖着白缎般的长尾巴，真叫惹人喜爱。“哇”我看见那条粉红色的金鱼，眼睛圆鼓鼓的，张开的小嘴就像一年纪的小朋友念的拼音字母“0”似的。北湖公园还有一个亭子，亭子边有一大片一大片翠绿的竹子。就像柔情似水的少女，竹叶轻轻拂面，显得万般温柔。宁静和优雅，真是一个读书作画的好去处。
北湖公园的春天，百花争艳，鸟儿鸣叫。夏天，芙蓉映日，柳浪随风。秋天，丹桂飘香，百菊争艳。冬天，腊梅盛开，苍松挺拔。
北湖公园到处都是美丽的景色，说也说不尽，希望你有机会去细细游赏。
