狗是我们的好朋友，它富有灵性，听得懂人类的语言，是人们最喜欢养的宠物。我也是很喜欢养小狗的，可是爸爸妈妈就是不给我养。
有一个风和日丽的日子里，我收到了一份特殊而充满意义的礼物，这份礼物让我学会了有责任心和爱心，让我学会了如何把一条小生命照顾得无微不至，这份礼物就是爸爸妈妈送给我的一条小狗。
那一天，我刚放学回家。一进门口，就听见一阵陌生而熟悉的声音，这是什么呢，我犹豫了一会儿，哦，原来这是小狗的声音。“这也太奇怪啦，我家一直都不养狗的，怎么突然就冒出这样一位客人呢？”我心里疑惑着，嘴里不停地唠唠叨叨。我慢慢地踏上楼梯，一步一步得走上去，鼻子都不敢吸一口气，连脚步声也不敢发出，生怕它会向我扑来。来到客厅里，我看见了一只小狗正在向我吠来。第一眼看见他时，觉得小狗好想要吃了我似的，但仔细地看着它：一身乳白色的毛，水灵水灵的眼睛，大大的耳朵，黑黑的鼻子，摆来摆去的尾巴，和它动人的声音，显得格外的可爱。于是，我走过去想抱它，可是小狗像日本动画片里的忍者一样，“闪”得非常快。于是，我拼命地追着小狗，和它大战三百回合以后，我终于制服了它。我把小狗抱在怀里，轻轻地抚摸着它的毛，说：“小狗小狗，怎么会在这里啊？”可它却闭上了眼请，享受着我给它的按摩。
过了一会儿，妈妈回来了，我抱着小狗走到妈妈面前，说：“妈妈，我家怎么来了一只小狗？”妈妈摸了摸小狗，笑了笑说：“是你姑妈的大狗生了几只小狗，就送了一只给我们了。”我恍然大悟了，之前还误会了它。我在想，这只小狗还没有名字，不如给它起个名字，经过深思熟虑，我想到了，就叫它敖犬吧，我希望它能够经过我的养育，能像西藏的藏獒一样珍贵。
