有一件事，虽然已经过去了大半年，但我仍然记忆犹新，好像昨天刚发生的一样。
记得那是一个炎热夏天里的一个星期日的下午，太阳炙烤着大地，妈妈带我去商场购物。路上行人都撑起了太阳伞，知了声声叫个不停，好像在说：“热了！热了！”真令人心烦。
真是不进去不知道，一进去吓一跳。商场里面人山人海，像一个巨大的烤炉，人进去不到三分钟，便“烤熟”了。我紧握着妈妈的手也沁出了许多汗。出来后，妈妈见我热得受不了，就买了一支雪糕给我吃。我想，这真是雪中送炭啊！我边想边吃，一支雪糕三下五除二就被我“消灭”了，雪糕纸被我漫不经心地扔到一个垃圾桶上。只听“当”
的一声，雪糕棍滚到了地上。我瞟了一眼，继续往前走。
没走了几步，我听见一声奶声奶气的呼唤：“小姐姐，小姐姐！”我回头见是一个八九岁的小男孩，正用手指着地上的雪糕棍，它在干净的路面上显得十分刺眼。“一个小男孩反倒管起我一个大队干部来了，”
我想。“不理他！”我头也不回，三步并作两步追上了妈妈。
“小姐姐不乖，小姐姐不乖！老师说了，近来刚闹‘非典’，要保护环境，预防‘非典’。”他说完，小心翼翼地捡起雪糕棍，塞进垃圾桶，这才放心地跑到旁边玩儿去了。
我惊愕地抬起头，一下从脖儿红到耳根：一个八岁小男孩对环保的认识如此深刻，何况我——一个四年级的大队干部呢！

It’s greatly appreciated that you can share your time to read my self—recommendation letter. My name is Yu Ting. Majoring in English, I will graduate from Neijiang Teachers’ college in June 2006.
“Only after polishing, the sword will be sharp; only after suffering sever winter, the plum blossom will be fragment.” After four—years’ heard study, I have possessed the quality to be a qualified graduate.
Four—years’ hard working arms me with solid specialized knowledge. Now, I have mastered the basic English skills: listening, speaking, reading, writing and translation; and also have a good knowledge of grammar, phonetics, linguistics….
