威廉.哈利特，辛辛那提书店的一位执着小男孩，为买一本地理书东奔西跑，失望和挫折如龙卷风习卷而来，促使着这个衣衫褴褛的小男孩走向绝境的大门，而最终小男孩在“我”和店员的鼓励和支持下，又重拾了信心，向自已的梦想迈开了坚定、充满信念的步伐!
岁月如水，正在一点一滴地慢慢流逝。一个年头又一个年头过去了，留在脑海里的记忆渐淡而又变得模糊，却没有冲刷掉可敬的决心。辛辛那提的小小买书童，已经成为了海上的“将军”。暴风雨咆哮着、嘶号着，犹如一只雄狮，挫使着我们陷入绝望黑暗的漩涡，可它们却丝毫没有打击船长的意志力，仿佛这只是半丝半缕，一点没有放在眼中，仍就井然有绪地指挥，领导，经过大家的不懈努力，船终于安全驶进了港口，人们得救了!那受人爱戴、令人崇敬的船长就是威廉.哈特利。
我轻轻合拢书，书香伴着清风，令人陶醉其中，我闭着双眼，微微回想起来：那晚，我一手握着钢笔，一手撑着头。瞌睡虫频频袭来，我渐渐招架不住了，眼皮子一点点的往下挪......我急忙甩了甩头，试图把它给赶走，可那都无济于事，我心中念念有词：瞌睡虫哇，我们只是萍水相逢，无冤无仇，打个招呼就行了吧?终于，我抵挡不住了，进入了梦乡......
我微微把嘴角扬起一个完美的孤线，带着一丝愧疚，似乎......还带着一丝嘲讽，是啊，古人“悬梁刺股”、“凿壁偷光”，而我只为这一点点小事却放弃了，明日却要付出加倍的努力。天下的事则无其不有，有人因为腿上的毛病而放弃了自已梦寐以求的舞台梦;有人因为厌倦，厌烦而丢掉工作，丢掉这个可能一举成名的，那个举动......
有千千万万地人因懒散和不屑，抛下学习与任务，追求“世外桃源”。用坚持和心换来的脚步，我不是阻止你们去发现美的脚步，而是告诉你们，不能三天打鱼，两天晒网，轻易放弃哟!我们都应该向古代或现在的文人墨客，好好学习一番啦!

My Winter Holiday` Plans Well, winter holiday is coming. So whatI am going to do? When I was in high school, there was a teacher who taught me more than that in was a very kind boy, 4 or 5 years older than us and taught us geography. We all liked to take his class, though geography was not our major course.
What impressed me a lot was his could see him always got angry only when we were too noisy in class,he often played soccer with used to be a very believable defender and never fouled on any of us.

I spend a lot of time on the homework.. Every day in my Winter Holiday, I always got up late. Then I listened to the tape, it was nine o’clock. Then I ate breakfast and then I did my homework during the daytime! I’m not very slow but the homework was too heavy!
