1、一类是直接告诉读者文章的中心思想的，要抓住文中表明中心思想的话语，用适当的词语连贯起来。这类文章中心思想的归
纳，主要有以下方法。
（1）摘录法：即直接摘录文中的中心句、主旨句。运用摘录法要注意分析文章的标题、分析文中的点题句、关键句。一篇文章的点题句、关键句，往往揭示了中心意思。点题句，有的开篇点题；关键句，记叙文中议论、抒情句常有画龙点睛之功效，有的是交待写作意图或时代背景等，对于准确归纳中心思想有重要作用。
（2）提炼法：即提炼文章的基本要素和关键词句。
2、另一类是没有直接写明中心思想的，需要读者分析概括。方法是：先把全文各段的大意连贯起来，加以综合概括，然后指出作者借以表达的立场、观点、感情等。
