可自从进入了青春期，我开始厌烦做那些繁琐的家务事。妈妈说这是我太懒了，其实不是。是因为现在的功课很多，学习压力很大，好不容易抽出来放松的时间要浪费在做家务上了。虽然厌烦，但是我依然明白，这是父母爱我的方式。可是，青春期的冲动让我和父母之间出现了一条若有若无的代沟。这条代沟与别人家的不一样，这条代沟只会出现一会儿，不就又自动愈合了。就这样在我的青春里反反复复……
我们如今的生活比起父母小时候，可是天壤之别。才会致使我们与父母在年龄，人生经历和思想等方面产生分歧，出现代沟。
我们开始长大了，在与父母产生矛盾以后，要学会自己冷静的想想父母的话是不是对的。如果是对的，就该虚心接受；如若不对，就要婉言纠正父母的错误，从而避免代沟的产生。我们有的时候会误解父母的爱，这没关系。只要在我们的心里，明白父母是爱我们的，只是有时我们看不清楚那种方式。

有一次考试，我进步很大。到我过生日的时候，我让爸爸给我买了个大蛋糕，他听完大怒，骂道：“小孩子家的，能吃完那么多蛋糕嘛！”最后，给我买了一个不是很大的蛋糕，还告诉我：“以后要是还可以保持这样的成绩，爸爸就给你买个更大的。”
每次考试完之后，他总是会给我找原因，哪一科没考好，哪一科进步了，哪一科退步了，在针对我的弱点进行加强，有时我把一个简单的题做错了，他就会让我反复做好几遍，做到滚瓜烂熟，熟记于心才行。
爸爸的右手和左脚先天性失灵，这是他一生不愿提及的伤痛，也正是因此，爸爸努力工作了几十年了仍是老样子，只能在那个单位一呆就是几十年离家又很远。想当年，爸爸一天走好长一段路上学，天还没亮就起床了，天黑了才能回到家，虽然情况很差，但爸爸硬是坚持了下来，学习成绩一直是名列前茅。
爸爸曾经的那种经历又岂是我三言两语所能表达所能体会的。现在我长大了，渐渐地明白了爸爸之所以对我那么严，是希望我将来过的很好，不再受苦。爸爸的良苦用心我现在才明白，事实也告诉了我这个道理：知识能够改变命运。
