一天，爸爸对我说：“楷楷，去奶奶家看看吧？”我还是不肯去。因为奶奶家的“床”是茅草，夏天还有许多蚊子、苍蝇和最可恶的毛毛虫，害的我每天晚上睡不好觉。门前有一堆堆牛粪，又臭又脏。再看看那泥泞的小道，到处都是水洼。一不小心就会踩到那里面，弄得脏兮兮的，我已经好几次了。站在一旁的爸爸似乎看出了我的顾虑说；“楷楷，奶奶家已经换了一张新的面容。”“真的吗？”我问爸爸笑着答道；“当然了。”
我怀着喜悦的心情坐上了开往老家的大巴。
来到了家乡，我惊讶的自言自语道：“天哪，太美了。”我来到那从前有一个个水洼的小道上，看到哪一条条水泥铺的`路，代替了那从前泥泞的小道。再摇头望去那厂房幢幢，代替了从前那破旧的土屋。晚上，马路上灯火辉煌，霓虹灯装点的想象仙境一样。到处亮堂堂的。家里也有暖气了、空调了。
奶奶问；“楷楷，你想不想听一听我这么大时候的故事？”我高兴地说：“那太好了！”奶奶说：“奶奶像你这么大的时候啊，每天早上都要推磨、到地里干活。你老奶奶生了九个孩子，家里非常穷，饭都没的吃，都肯地瓜干、吃野菜。晚上拿些烂棉花盖。当时村里都是这个样子。有一次你老爷爷放牛回来被鬼子抓取背鬼子过河。我们一家人都快吓了。当时鬼子经常进村，弄得村里鸡犬不宁。好了，不跟你说这些了。”听完之后，我不由的落泪了。这就是这个村庄从前的样子啊！
但是在看看现在，从前这个落后的村庄已经成为了经济技术先进的城市。我为家乡自豪！我希望以后这个城市会更加美好！
