看着看着，我明白了自己该怎么做了。刷牙时，我接满一杯水后就关掉了水龙头，改变了以前水哗啦啦一直流到刷完牙才关的状况；尽量少看电视，看完之后及时把插头拔下来；吃饭时比以前更认真了，一粒米饭也没有撒出来；每周有一天我不坐电梯改走楼梯，我家可是住在17楼啊！
妈妈惊讶于我的变化，她非常认同我的做法。在我的`带动下，她也加入了“低碳行动”，我们一家开始了“低碳生活”。
夏天天气炎热，我们尽量少开空调改开电扇；妈妈把所有的照明灯都换成了节能灯，还把洗菜的水用来浇花；我将垃圾桶设两个：可以回收的和不可回收的；我和妈妈出门都自带喝水杯，并且尽量减少使用一次性的餐具；咱家看电视的时间少了，都到室外参加活动了……
