今天是20xx年的最后一天也是我们俗称的“除夕”。我最期待的一天。
一大早上，爸爸妈妈就早早起来打扫卫生，贴。而我是闲人一个，我想春节不是应该休息吗？为什么还忙个不停？正想着妈妈那边又开始蒸馒头，炸丸子，挂灯笼，贴福字，好繁琐呀！中午饭刚过，妈妈又准备晚上的饺子，看着她忙碌身影我有点兴奋不起来。平时他们还有时间陪我，可是今天我期盼已久大年夜，想抓到他们都很难。
到了晚上5点多，有很多人都出去放鞭打年兽，这是每年过年时老人们所讲究的习俗，也所称为是新的一年到来了。
终于到了晚上8点，春节联欢晚会开始了。爸爸妈妈这才坐在电视机前看电视。可是没过多久妈妈却睡着了，我这才知道原来我是最幸福的一天却是爸爸妈妈最累的一天。
这一年过的真快转眼间快到十二点了，我不声不响地走到厨房，想偷偷帮妈妈煮饺子。但是妈妈却醒了，说了一句：“儿子，你懂事了，长大了。”我说：“妈妈以后过年，我们一起做这些，这样才会显得更有年味这也是属于我们全家团圆。”妈妈开心的笑了。

今天是除夕夜，妈妈和奶奶联手协力做菜，不到午时，阵阵菜香从楼下随着微凉的轻风飘到楼上，虽然我们已经吃过早饭了，可是一闻到这挡都挡不住的'香气，食欲又被勾出来了，双眼干巴巴的望着高高在上的时钟，刚好，时钟的指针正停在十一，我、爸爸和哥哥都忍不住跳起来欢呼，因为奶奶有提早吃饭的习惯，所以十一点就开饭了。
下楼后，大家以迅雷不及掩耳的速度，火力奔向餐桌，殷勤快速的端菜肴、摆碗筷，就像最认真的服务生;最后一一坐下，用一双饥渴难耐的双眼，期盼的望向奶奶，就等她一声令下：“开动!”之后，大家变抄起筷子、拿着碗，在桌上色香味皆俱全的丰盛菜肴上“短兵相接”、“大动干戈”，狼吞虎咽起来，我一掀开汤的锅盖，就一阵香味扑鼻而来，勾引着我的鼻子，让我忍不住又用力的吸了两下，啊!这香味带着大骨汤的精髓，而且奶奶又在汤里放了我最喜欢的一些火锅料，起司球和蟹味棒、羊肉、牛肉……，虽然有点像杂菜堡，味道闻起来却十分不赖;还有糖醋鱼，嗅起来酸酸甜甜，而且吃起来又不会太黏腻，奶奶和妈妈精心做的汤菜，就在我们的狼吞虎咽之下，不一会儿盘底朝天，见底了。
吃完饭，分工处理完桌上的杯盘狼藉后，妈妈又多来一些酸梅汤来给我们解渴，我嗅了嗅，酸酸甜甜的热梅汤隐隐还有一缕蒸气缓缓上升，浅啜一口，其美好的香气和滋味更是引人入胜，叫人回味无穷。
吃完这顿饭后，我们不断满足了口腹之欲，对“香”的理解更上了一个层次，这菜香真是永生难忘。
