渔夫看见灯光下熟睡的孩子，觉得非常可爱。桑娜和渔夫坐在一起，想着以后该如何过日子。渔夫拍了桑娜的肩膀说：“没什么大不了的，只要你我艰苦一点，每天少吃一点，孩子们就会有吃的，日子再难也得过啊！等到他们再长大一点，也该教他们怎么帮家里出一份力了。特别是咱们的亲生儿女。”桑娜默默地点了点头。
说完，渔夫便抄起渔网等打渔工具，打开门，奔向海边，驾驶着小船出海打渔。
孩子们醒来后，互相看着对方，感觉非常陌生，桑娜绕有趣味地介绍对方，孩子们笑了，便在地上爬来爬去。孩子们在这间屋子里一天一天地成长起来。无忧无虑。而大人们可都在干活。渔夫每天都是“日出而作，日落而息。”有时还要做到凌晨也不能休息。桑娜更是忙得不可开交，她要洗衣、做饭、去菜市捡面包??

忽然，门吱嘎一响，渔夫回来了，魁梧黧黑的渔夫拖着湿淋淋的鱼网说:“嘿！桑娜，我回来了，你看我今天捕了多少鱼”说罢把鱼举起来。
“今天捕的鱼真多，是我有史以来见过最多的鱼了，上帝总算开恩了。”桑娜高兴的说。
“是啊，上帝终于肯开恩了，这几天孩子们不用在挨饿了”渔夫将雨网放在火炉旁对桑娜说:“早点睡吧，明天给孩子们多做一点饭，让他们好好补充补充营养。”
“你先睡吧，我把鱼收拾收拾，再补几张雨网，再睡”桑娜说。
从这一天起，渔夫天天都会捕道鱼，有事，还会捞出几件文物。慢慢的，他们家越来越富了，他们从渔夫变成了商人......

有到了正月十五，我国最热闹的`节日之一元宵节，那一天我们一家过得其乐融融。
元宵节有个习俗就是吃汤圆，寓意着让每家团团圆圆，今晚奶奶“权力下放”，把煮汤圆的重要任务交给我来执行。我把它看成一件十分重大的任务，生怕煮破了。因此心里好像揣着一只小兔子“怦怦”直跳，我想起以前奶奶教我煮汤圆的经验：先将糯米粉用开水调和成皮，注意水不可以太多，多了会过稀；也不能过少，少了没粘性。然后取一块皮在手掌中搓成圆形，再用手指在上面按一个窝，把芝麻捣碎做馅，放在里面“包”好。放馅时一定不可以太贪心，否则会把皮的“肚子”给撑破的。终于包好后，可以下锅了。我又按照奶奶说的煮汤圆的四个诀窍：“开水下锅，慢水煮，点冷水，勤换水”于是便将自己辛辛苦苦做好的元宵放进水里。没多久，可以起锅了，掀开盖子，只见一个个雪白的汤圆漂浮在水上，彼此紧贴着，好像一粒粒大珍珠，看得我直流口水，将它们舀到碗里，闻着那香喷喷的味道，忍不住先咬了一口，真好吃啊，又香又糯。我刚把汤圆端上桌，大家就狼吞虎咽的吃开了。大家高兴地吃完了我煮的汤圆，“美食家”奶奶还给我打了一个九十五分，夸我长大了，懂事了。我兴奋不已，第一次煮汤圆就得到这么高的评价，我心里美滋滋的。

自从桑娜家收养了西蒙的两个孩子后，他们的日子就越来越难熬了。

渔夫为了维持这个家庭的生活，他总是冒着危险拼着命起早贪黑的去打鱼。老天爷好像要故意考验一下这个渔夫家庭，一连几天，渔夫打鱼都是收获甚微，渔夫和桑娜眼看着家里快要揭不开锅了，但他们宁愿自己忍饥挨饿，也不让孩子门受委屈。桑娜尤其对西蒙的两个孩子特别关心。
