假期生活有意义的一天英语作文【一】
暑假里的一天，我在电脑上看到了一个手工作品的做法。那个手工作品叫“彩虹瓶”，看上去很漂亮，做法也很简单。
我看到了，心想：反正我现在在暑假里闲的没事干，要不就做这个“彩虹瓶"吧。
说干就干，我先按电脑上所说的准备材料。“彩虹瓶"的材料不多，只需要一个瓶子，一根针管和一些海绵宝宝。瓶子，我就用平时喝饮料的玻璃瓶。然后，我又去小店里买了一包海绵宝宝。可针管哪里有呢？我想了半天，想起了医院应该有卖，就到医院里买了根针管。
现在材料齐了，就要动手开始做了。按电脑上说的，要先把变大了的海绵宝宝放到针管里去，用针管压成渣，接着把渣排成彩虹的颜色，倒到玻璃瓶里就行了。
这些步骤一开始我看起来很简单，可到了我自己亲自动手做时，就让我犯难了。再把海绵宝宝放到针管里的时候可麻烦了。海绵宝宝总是滑溜溜的，从水里拿不出来。好不容易拿出来了，又发现拿出来的海绵宝宝颜色不对，把我急的直跺脚。把海绵宝宝拿出来后，我就要把海绵宝宝放到针管里。有的海绵宝宝太大了，塞不进去，只能用手捏成两半，再放进去。挤海绵宝宝也不是个好差事，有时放进去的海绵宝宝太多，根本挤不动。只能把全部的倒出来，再重新塞进去。在把渣排颜色时，我得避免把两种不同颜色的渣弄到一起。
最后，我终于把“彩虹瓶"做好了，它摆在我的书桌上。每次看到它，心里美滋滋的。

漫长的暑假就要结束了，在这个暑假里，让我最开心的事就是妈妈和阿姨带我和王翔玉去宁夏旅游。
我们从西安乘坐火车到了中卫，下车后乘坐大巴车来到了腾格里沙漠。我们坐上了沙漠冲浪车，“开车了”，冲浪车先是冲向了高高的沙丘，再从沙丘上冲下来，真刺激啊!下了冲浪车，我走到了沙丘旁，抓起了一把淡黄色的沙子，沙子很细，细得像面粉一样。我往后退了几步，快速奔向了一个沙丘，沙子非常松软，我手脚并用，爬了好半天，才终于爬上了一个小沙丘。我躺到沙丘上，天空是那么的蓝，上面一丝云彩也没有，我转向四周，一望无际的沙漠上有一个个沙丘，景色非常迷人。 一阵微风吹来，我的脸上满是沙子，赶紧跑下了沙丘。然后我和王翔玉在沙丘上上下下做起了游戏，非常开心。后来，妈妈拿起了滑沙板，我们从沙丘上滑了下来，我还觉得不过瘾，又多滑了几次。这时，妈妈注意到时间快到了，我们赶紧坐上冲浪车回到了通湖草原。我看到草原面积并不大，上面的草稀稀落落，与我想象的大不相同。妈妈好奇地问导游，导游说：“有这么一片草原已经很不容易了，这里非常干旱，沙漠发展速度很快，为了防沙，人门做出了很多努力。”在离开这里的车上，看着两旁的沙漠和路旁的治沙工程，我想起了沙漠虽然很好玩，但不能让它侵占我们的家园。
下午，我们来到了沙坡头景区，在这里，我乘坐了船和羊皮筏子，还骑了沙漠之舟—骆驼呢!第二天，我们游览了沙湖和西部影视城。
这次宁夏之旅虽然时间有点短，但我还是玩得很开心。
