1。 头绪分明，脉络清楚
写好记叙文，首先要头绪分明，脉络清楚，明确文章要求写什么。要对所写的事件或人物进行分析，弄清事件发生、发展一直到结束的整个过程，然后再收集选取素材。这些素材都应该跟上述五个“ W ”和一个“ H ”有关。尽管不是每篇记叙文里都必须包括这些“ W ”和“ H ”，但动笔之前，围绕五个“ W ”和“ H ”进行构思是必不可少的。
2。 突出中心，详略得当
在文章的框架确定后，对支持故事的素材的选取是很关键的。选材要注意取舍，应该从表现文章主题的需要出发，分清主次，定好详略。要突出重点，详写细述那些能表现文章主题的重要情节，略写粗述那么非关键的次要情节。面面俱到反而使情节罗列化，使人不得要领。这一点是写好记叙文要解决的一个基本问题，也需要一定的技巧。如：
One night a man came to our house and told me， "There is a family with eight children。 They have not eaten for days。" I took some food with me and went。
When I finally came to that family， I saw the faces of those little children disfigured （破坏外貌） by hunger。 There was no sorrow or sadness in their faces， just the deep pain of hunger。
I gave the rice to the mother。 She divided the rice in two， and went out， carrying half the rice。 When she came back， I asked her， "Where did you go?" she gave me this simple answer， "To my neighbors — they are hungry also!"
3。 用活语言，准确生动
记叙文要用具体的事件和生动的语言对人、事、物加以叙述。一篇好的记叙文的语言既要准确、生动，又要表现力强，这样才能把人、事描写得具体生动，其可读性才强。试比较下面一篇例文修改的前后效果。
原文：
One day Xiaoqiang was wandering away。 He was soon lost among people and traffic。 He could not find the way back home and started crying。 Just then， two young students who were passing by found him standing alone in front of a shop and crying。 They went up to Xiaoqiang and asked him what had happened。 Xiaoqiang told them how he got lost and where he lived。 The two students decided to take him home。 Mother was pleased to see Xiaoqiang come back safe and sound。 She invited the two students into the house and gave them some money， but they didn＇t take it。 She served them with tea but they left。
修改后：
The other day， five-year-old Xiaoqiang left home alone and wandered happily in the street。 After some time， he felt hungry so he wanted to go back home。 But he found he was lost among the crowded people and heavy traffic。 When he could not find the way home， he started and crying。 Just then， two young students who were passing by from school found him sanding crying in front of a shop。 They immediately went up to him。
"Little boy， why are you standing here crying?" they asked。
"I want Mom， I go home。" said the boy， still crying。
"Don＇t worry， we＇ll send you home。"
And they spent the next two hours looking for the boy＇s house。 With the help of a policeman， they finally found it。
When the worried mother saw her son come back safe and sound， she was so thankful and she invited the students into her house。 Gratefully， she offered them some money， saying it was a way to express her thanks， but the young students firmly refused it and left without even a cup of tea。

一句生硬的中文突然冒了出来。我问：你在哪？我穿着隐身衣，你看不见我，我是来邀请你去月球做客的。太好了！ 外星人热情的把我请上了飞船，飞船带着外星人和我到了月球，月球上都是外星人，他们看到我，把我围着，欢呼道：大使来了！大使来了！我奇怪地问：大使？什么？外星人说：我们要与地球联谊，第一个来到这里的地球人，就是大使。我是第一个？杨利伟叔叔呢？我问。话音刚落，神舟五号就降落在月球上，从里面就走出了杨利伟叔叔，宇航员们惊奇地看着我，而我还在要杨利伟叔叔的签名。杨利伟叔叔没办法，只好签了名给我。外星人们又把我送到餐厅，给我叫了满桌子的菜，有：红烧牛板筋、清蒸鲤鱼、香辣鸡翅...都是我喜欢吃的，让我垂涎三尺，恨不得连盘子带菜一起吞下肚子。

去年暑假，我去了北京，游览北京城作文。那儿非常好玩，下面让我来介绍一下吧！故宫是一个闻名世界的旅游景点，它占地6875000平方米，分为999间房子。
每间屋子都是木质结构，有精美的雕刻，例如：人、马、桃花等，每个雕刻都非常逼真。屋顶的四角都有一个立体雕刻，一般都是龙、马、老虎，每个雕刻都活灵活现，像真的一样，这说明我国劳动人民有着高超的'技艺。故宫里最豪华的房间是皇宫，金碧辉煌。皇宫正中间是皇上坐的龙椅，龙椅上雕刻着一幅精美的梅花图。
但因为不能接近，我只好远远的观看。北京的颐和园也很出名，我和几个小朋友在长廊上追逐，很开心。长廊顶上有许多画，让人既看不完，也百看不厌，有鸭子戏水、小儿玩球等。园中的湖面上波光粼粼，远处是大片的荷花，荷叶碧绿碧绿的，好像接着天，无穷无尽，令人赏心悦目。北京还有世界八大奇迹之一——长城。我登上了八达岭长城，放眼望去，只见千山一碧，长城就像一条巨龙，在群山之间蜿蜒盘旋，根本就看不到尽头，真是壮观极了
。我不懂的是：长城都建在陡峭的山坡上，我们古代的劳动人民是如何搬运一吨多重的石头的呢？毫无疑问，他们是用智慧搬运的。北京城是祖国的首都，也是最美丽的城市！

记得有一次，在灿烂而又暖和的中午，我和妈妈爬上了白云山顶，往下看广州大半收在眼底，郁郁葱葱的树丛掩映着黄的、绿的、红的、白的花朵。在我无忧无虑的'观赏时，一只蜜蜂趁我不注意飞快地扎了我一下，“啊！”我一下子三火冒三丈，一转头看见一只蜜蜂，我大骂“你——干——嘛——叮——我——！”这个大声，大概连聋子都让我吵着受不了。
那只蜜蜂还在我面前跳舞，好像在说：“不是我叮你的，你有证据吗？”
我怒火加到一百度，我把脖子那根针拔下来，然后把它踩在脚下，后来，我发现他被踩了，我得意得好像是世界的新主人一样。
我告诉了妈妈，她说：“你真是顽皮捣蛋王啊！”我第一次被人这样夸奖，越来越高兴，我一跳，我好像飞到了天上呢！
