It has been two weeks since I last wrote to you. I am so sorry that I don‘t write you very often.
However, I have been busy with my preparation
for the final exams. As you know, I‘m coming home on Jan.14th. But before that, I have to take the final exams for all six classes I‘m taking this semester. Recently I have been in and out of the library a lot to do some research on the term paper for one of the classes. Most professors gave out the review problems already so that the students can study for the final. I think I‘m doing okay studying for the final.
Besides reviewing materials, I‘m also planning to host the New Year party of my department. You know there are so many talented people in my Communications major, but they picked me to host the party! Great, isn‘t it?

去年的秋天，伴随着那一阵秋风，我来到了新的学校。金黄的树叶铺满了地面，校道两旁的树目也垂头丧气，仿佛并不欢迎我这个新生的到来。一阵凉飕飕的秋风吹来，吹进了那不曾包裹严实的心窝。第一节课并没有让我感到同学的友好。
老师把我喊上讲台，一只手搂着我的肩膀，说“这是我们的班里新转来的同学，大家欢迎！”我下意识地翘起嘴角，向同学们微笑并做自我介绍，可换来的却是同学们一脸的不屑，几个正在写作业的同学继续埋头苦干；后排同学的身子懒散地靠在墙壁上，眼珠向讲台上扫了扫，不屑地往后缩了缩身子；几个同学更是向窗外望去，仿佛那儿有更美的风景。我回到桌位上，周围都是陌生的校服，我忽而觉得像是被一群士兵紧紧地包围，封锁思想，动弹不得。窗外的秋风也狠狠地刮着，站在一边看着这一场闹剧。
第二天，地上有多了几片枯黄的落叶，无人打扫任由其随风飘去。新的作业本到货了，班里开始发作业本。组长有序地发放，唯独到我这里时，随手一丢，作业本跌落在地上，一同下坠的仿佛还有我的心。窗外的风有吹了进来，掀起了本子的封面，白花花的书页映入我的眼帘，我却感到一丝茫然、一丝无助。心中愤愤不平，发抖的手无力捡起这千斤般重的本子。我仿佛陷进了一个冷漠的`闹市，周围的人都有说有笑，唯独我独自在风中行走，周围的人视若无睹，成双成对地继续着他们的游玩。
我迎着秋风来到了操场上，风吹动的落在地上的几颗沙石，沙石都随着风吹的方向飘去，是那么的整齐，是那么的轻松，唯独一颗重的，落在原地不动，也许是它的与众不同吧，也许是它的坚持吧！而我随即看到的，是随风飘动的沙子都落入了沙井中，唯独它骄傲地立在地上。风弱了。也许与众不同就是要被歧视，也许抱着坚持就是那么痛苦，可我相信，终有一天，我会让他人看到一个骄傲的我。
秋风又吹动了，吹落了树叶，吹走了沙石，吹来了悲伤，吹来了无助，也吹来了坚强。

中午，校园就开始热闹了原来是一年级的小朋友做给秋姑娘的礼品全展出了，跟我去瞧瞧吧!来到校园的涌道上，你会发现一件件，一样样琳琅满目的作品一字摆开，等着我们去评价呢!瞧!那有个五颜六色的`生日蛋糕，这有只壮壮的小鸡，再低头俯视，一张红扑扑的娃娃脸正对着你咧开大嘴笑呢!正当我聚精会神地观赏着一件件精致的作品时，一只乌龟映入我的眼帘，“是哪个小弟弟妹妹送给秋姑娘一只活乌龟?”我盯着乌龟自言自语。这时，“乌龟”身上的一场块“铠甲”掉了，定睛一看，原来是马铃薯做成的，它的头在风中有些摇晃，好像在向主人要吃的，它的四条腿一缩一缩的，仿佛要爬动似的，我看着栩栩如生的乌龟想：“秋姑娘看了一定会非常开心的。
“咚”，我的头被撞了一下，抬头一看，“哇”!上面全是叶贴画，刚看一眼，我就被一幅《蝴蝶飘舞》图吸引住了，它的翅膀是香樟树叶做成的，长须可威风了似乎在说：“我是蝴蝶之王，看我漂亮吗?
刚看完蝴蝶，我又被“果子聚会”迷住了，它是由贡桔`草莓`柚子`葡萄。。。。。。组成的，上面还有一朵花呢!水果们可会打扮了。瞧!贡桔裹着大肥袄摇摇摆摆地来了葡萄披着薄薄的紫纱裙来了，草莓爱时髦，头戴一顶小丑绿帽来了，桂园穿着一身铠甲威风凛凛地来了我想冬爷爷肯定会去请秋姑娘来欣赏的。
夜里，我做了个梦，梦见秋姑娘回来了。我们用一张漂亮的网把秋姑娘网住了!不信，你瞧，这几天都是暖暖的，是不是秋姑娘回来了?

Christmas Day falls on the twenty-fifth of December.It is a very happy day for many boys and girls .Before the term ends in some schools ,the children act a nativity or “birth” play,showing how Jesus was born in a stable.
On the twenty-fourth of December,all children are very excited.Usually they are sent to bed early so that their parents can get the presents ready.The younger children think that Father Christmas will come down the chimney or fireplace ,so they hang up a sock for him to put presents in.The greedy ones even hang up a pillow-case or a sack to try to get more presents.Later that night,Father or Mother will put presents in the sock,and leave others at the side of the bed.
On Christmas morning,the children wake up very early.Some even turn on the light at two o'clock,and most of them are awake by six o'clock although it is not light in England for another hour or two at this time of the year.Children look for their presents,and the young ones play while the dinner is prepared.At about one o'clock in the afternoon,the Christmas dinner is brought in.The turkey or chicken is quickly eaten.Children search in their Christmas pudding for new coins which are hidden in it.The rest of the day is full of games and eating until the happiest of all Christmas hollidays comes to an end.
