At college, I missed my parents a lot. As the term was drawing to an end, I eagerly looked forward to going home. And I planned to do a thousand and one things during the vacation. Above all, I wanted to help my mother with housework. I also wished to read many hooks which my teachers had recommended. However, at home, my mother would never let me do anything. She completely deprived me of sharing her work. As soon as I opened a book to read,she would sit down beside me and ask me about all kinds of things at the college. To please her,I told her one thing after another,and soon I forgot all about books. Even when I was actually reading,she would, now and then,insist that I should eat an egg or drink a cup of tea. When I left home at the end of the vacation, not a thing in my plan had been carried out. But I felt very happy. I believed much more deeply than before in the old saying: Home, sweet home. There’s no place like home!

the summer vacation had come round again. i was happy that i could forget about school at least for a while. lest i fool around all through this summer vacation, i made a plan as to how to spend it. first, i thought i should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that i could have a better understanding of them.
then i thought i should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running and rowing, to keep me physically strong. it stood to reason that with such a good plan i should make the best of my vacation time. i did, because i lived up to what i had planned.

手里拿着成绩单，看着这分数心里真不是滋味。虽说前我生了场病，考这分数情有可原。但总的原因还是我没有认真学习，造成基础不牢固，无法用自己所学的知识去面对考试。
想着平日里父母为我的学习操碎了心，心里总有一种愧疚感。暑假来临，正好可以利用这段时间来弥补我学习上的不足。
我的暑假学习安排是这样的：
一·每天坚持听一个小时的英语。由于某些因素，让我们在英语水平上与经济发达地区的孩子们有一定的差距，但我相信只要我肯努力，也能追上他们，并比他们做的更好。
二·坚持背诵语文古诗词和英语单词。在高考中语文默写占得分值虽不是很大，但俗话说“一分也能压倒众多人。”就像在这次考试中，我就因没好好背古诗词，连屈原《离》中的千古名句“长太息以掩涕兮，哀民生之多艰。”都不会写，让我白白丢了许多分。并且在写时，可以引用许多古诗词。如在写面对困难时的态度，可以引用李白的“长风破浪会有时，直挂云帆济沧海。”等等。背英语单词更为重要，阅读时连单词的意思都不知道，那你该如何答题;写作时连单词都不会拼写，那你该如何的高分……
三·多做理综题。只会一味的记硬背公式是不会在理综上拿到高分的。理综注重的是灵活运用，只有多做题，题型见多了，遇到相似的题就知道该如何下笔。像我在那抓破脑袋想这题应用什么公式，好不容易公式想出了却不知道该如何解题，时间浪费了分也丢了。
四·整理笔记，回顾以前所学的知识。学过的知识只有不断回顾才能让它记忆深刻。像我总是把以前所学的`知识全都堆积到考试前几天来复习，这种做法不仅没有效果还让我越复习越紧张。把笔记整理几遍可以发现哪些知识是重点，哪些知识自己还没吃透等等。
五·利用网络多和别人交流。网络是个很好的交流平台，我们可以在网上与他人互相交流学习，了解大学的招生信息等等。
“所谓天才人物指的就是具有毅力的人，勤奋的人，入迷的人和忘我的人。”我会充分利用好这个暑假，以最好的状态去面对新学期的到来。

暑假是多种多样的，有快乐有悲伤。但令我印象最深刻的是去海上游玩。我的心情变得异常兴奋和开心。
那天下了一个上午的雨，下午雨过天，天空泛起宝石一般的蓝。我们出发了！途中，烈日炎炎的下午却使我那小小的心里充满了欢喜。因为一想到即将去大海，便不由自主地开心。终于到大海，我看见码头上有许多船。所有的船簇拥在一起，有大的也有小的。我又望望眼前的大海，听着呼啸的海浪声，我愈加感到大海的宏伟和博大。我迫不及待想要上轮船，当爸爸告诉我是哪艘船时我便马上跑到船前。啊！真大啊！相对我来说，船是个庞然大物了。船的样子十分像古代的阁楼，上船之后，我马上把船全都走了一遍。船启动了。我站在船头，海风迎面而来，真舒服。突然，有人说有个重要的东西忘记拿了，船只好掉头回去。像是有人打扰了我的美梦，我显得极不开心。等那人拿了东西后，船又开始出海了。我又终于放心没人打扰我的美梦了。走了许久，看见远处有几座小岛。岛上树木很茂盛，一片碧绿。这些小岛就像是镶嵌在海上的一颗颗绿宝石，给大海增添华丽的`色彩。还有一些海鸥在轮船后飞着。像在跟轮船赛跑。凉风习习、鸟声啁啾让人心旷神怡。船集在一个小岛前，这里空气十分清新。有人已经开始钓鱼，有人下水游泳。一位叔叔朝游泳的人喊有鲨鱼啊！游过去啦！那些游泳的一副惊慌的样子，我们船上的人都笑了。如果画家把这个场面画下来，那么这幅画一定很美很美。
回去时，已是今晚，夕阳落山，洒下万丈霞光，大海顿时成了色彩斑斓的舞台。流动着霞光异彩。此时此刻，天上的余光，海中的波光，交织成人间最动人的美景。这时，海鸥又来了，然而这次它们不是来赛跑而是捕食。因为船的螺旋桨把鱼带上来，海鸥就有了可乘之机啊！此时岸边都蒙上了一层火色的纱幔，景色变得迷离起来。但是灯火辉煌。给傍晚的大海又增添了另一番绚丽的光彩。天空从艳红变变为淡红，从橙黄退到淡黄，从浅蓝转成深蓝，直到变黑，船便靠岸了。我带着满怀的好情情回家了。

终于放暑假了，真让人开心，可是在开心，暑假也还是要继续学习的，明年就要升六年级了，据我所知，六年级的学习是很艰苦了，而且六年级过去后就要小升初了，所以我时刻都不能放松对自己的要求。
可是电脑实在是太好玩了，我过了一会儿就要玩一玩游戏，爸爸见我这样，便给我定了一条规定：每天都要发表一篇文章，如果不写，爸爸看不到我的文章，就不许我玩游戏。我想：“也好，不但锻炼了我的写作水平，而且王老师本来就叫每天写一篇，我就照日记的样子写不就行了吗?反正一篇文章又不可能把我的脑细胞全部用光，又能在写好的情况下玩游戏，我就算打23小时，只要我说‘我作文已经写好了’不就可以玩了吗?”
不行，这是不行的，我就是写100篇文章一天也不能玩超过2小时，我还是小孩，不能长时间坐在电脑前，这样既伤害了视力，又没意思，玩玩就够了。何况我还要睡觉、吃饭、做作业……为了玩电脑而连基本的生活顺序都打乱了，我也不想啊。
暑假，我打算把一天分两半，12小时工作，12小时睡觉。工作我打算做作业2小时，玩1小时(1小时多，练二胡1小时(几十分钟，午觉3小时，外出逛街3小时，剩下2小时就是吃饭了，每顿40分钟。
我的计划不错吧，希望大家多提意见!

summer can be very hot in southern taiwan where the temperature usually goes up to 32"c or more. because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. also because of this i stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky.
actually i like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. in the summer vacation that has just ended i went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. this summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. as a second-year senior student i had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. in other words, i must find time to study, too.
so i divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.
