At college, I missed my parents a lot. As the term was drawing to an end, I eagerly looked forward to going home. And I planned to do a thousand and one things during the vacation. Above all, I wanted to help my mother with housework. I also wished to read many hooks which my teachers had recommended. However, at home, my mother would never let me do anything. She completely deprived me of sharing her work. As soon as I opened a book to read,she would sit down beside me and ask me about all kinds of things at the college. To please her,I told her one thing after another,and soon I forgot all about books. Even when I was actually reading,she would, now and then,insist that I should eat an egg or drink a cup of tea. When I left home at the end of the vacation, not a thing in my plan had been carried out. But I felt very happy. I believed much more deeply than before in the old saying: Home, sweet home. There’s no place like home!

summer can be very hot in southern taiwan where the temperature usually goes up to 32"c or more. because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. also because of this i stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky.
actually i like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. in the summer vacation that has just ended i went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. this summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. as a second-year senior student i had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. in other words, i must find time to study, too.
so i divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.

我们又开始了暑假生活。这个暑假和往常一样，十分闷热，而且爸爸妈妈又没时间带我出去玩，不过我还是将这个暑假安排得很充实。我在星星艺校中报了兴趣班，学会了不少知识。转眼间兴趣班即将结束了，我也已经参加完了。
今天已经是8月21日了，这是星星艺校中的最后一节课。太阳热得发了狂，我流了许多汗，我跑到星星艺校，心中又激动又紧张，不知道考试结果怎么样。终于等到老师公布结果的时候了，我心中仿佛揣了一只小兔子似的，咚咚跳个不停，手心里也都是汗水。听着老师报出一个个小朋友的名字时，我的心越来越紧张，这时老师说我考了满分，我高兴得差点跳了起来。接下来是语文课。在语文课上，我又听到了一个好消息，我考了99分，虽然没有满分，但这也是全班最高分呢!这可真是双喜临门啊。
我一回到家就忍不住告诉了爸爸妈妈这个好消息，爸爸高兴地一下子把我举了起来，连转了好几圈，还不停地夸我厉害。看着爸爸妈妈的笑脸，我心想以后也要好好努力，让爸爸妈妈永远这么开心。

快乐的暑假一眨眼就过去了。我戴着红领巾，迈着沉重的步伐来到学校，看着老师同学，看着熟悉的教室，想着又要上学了，我是多么想念那快乐的暑假。要是天天这样过暑假该多么好哇!
暑假里虽然有许多事都不能实现，不能满足，但暑假是多么的自由自在!
每天早上，你要几点钟起床就几点钟起床，哪怕你睡到中午都不会有人叫你，而要上学了，你就要早早起床，刷牙、洗脸、吃饭┅┅这么多的事要在7点钟之前做完，还要急匆匆地赶到学校，迟到了又要被老师骂，是有多么的不自由!
在暑假的晚上，你可以在外面乘凉，可以和小伙伴们在场院里追逐打闹，要几点钟睡就几点钟睡。而上学了，晚上不能玩耍，不能看电视，不能玩电脑，还要写作业，到了深夜，才能拖着疲倦上床睡觉，是多么的难受呀!
在学校里，上午和下午都得在教室上课，像牢笼困住了我们这些活泼可爱的小鸟。而在暑假里，我想去哪就去哪，想去游泳就去游泳，是多么的无忧无虑!
虽然暑假里经常被蚊子叮，虫子咬，但我还是想天天过暑假!

放暑假了，放假的时间一共有两个月，时间很长，我也希望在这两个月里可以过得很快乐。我希望有这样一个暑假。
我希望有这样一个暑假：暑假里我可以和家人一起去钓鱼。钓鱼不仅可以从中到钓鱼的乐趣，还可以减缓夏天的炎热。虽然自己不会钓鱼，可是当看到别人钓到鱼的.时候，我总是很兴奋，有种想学的冲动。而且，钓鱼的时候，我还可以和妹妹一起到河里玩水。河水总是很清澈，清澈的可以看见水底的沙石，看着水中的小鱼和小虾在我们的脚下自由自在地尽情游动着，非常可爱。
我希望有这样一个暑假：暑假里爸爸妈妈能带我去吃肯德基。一直觉得肯德基很好吃，很有味道。比如，汉堡、鸡翅、薯条还有冰淇淋都是我爱吃的。
我希望有这样一个暑假：暑假里能去一次游乐园。游乐园是每个小朋友都想去的地方，那里是我们的天堂。游乐园里的玩具可真多啊，都是我想玩的。滑滑梯、荡秋千，还有一些比较惊险的游戏，像过山车、蹦极......这些我只在电视上看到过，却没有机会自己去好好体验，所以真的很希望可以去游乐园。
这就是我所希望的暑假，不仅仅只有作业，不仅仅只有动画片，不仅仅只有书本，而是一个充满了欢乐的暑假。

暑假来临了，这是学生们最期待的，这些时间完全是属于他们的，可是一件事情不能让他们痛痛快快地玩，那就是暑假作业。
虽然暑假作业不难，但是要完成每天学校和父母布置的暑假作业却要花费很长的时间。这样一来，我们就少了许多玩耍的时间。本来在这些时间里，我们可以玩、可以看、可以听很多的事物……而暑假作业既枯燥又乏味。做就做吧，可还这么得多，每天的作业就像是“杂草丛生，锄也锄不完……”。
而且大家都把作业看成是“负担”，不把“负担”弄走玩起来也不痛快。比如，到外面却郊游，每天提心吊胆，生怕回来作业做不完，一开学就会被老师修理得“屁滚尿流”。因此，他们不能全神贯注地感受大自然的美。
甚至有位学生为了玩成了终生残疾。事情是这样的：暑假到了，那位学生想去和同学玩，可是爸爸妈妈不准，把他反锁在家里，让他好好做作业。为了玩他不顾生命危险居然从二楼跳下导致残废。
我也曾被关在像“大牢”一样的家里，很想去找姐姐玩，可爸爸妈妈让我在家里乖乖做作业。我不肯。他们就把门反锁住去上班了。虽然我不像那位变成残疾的学生那样愚蠢从窗户跳下去，可还是念念不忘跟姐姐玩时的情形。胆小的我不敢不按爸爸妈妈的话去做，可当我站在窗口看到窗外那些快乐玩耍的孩子们时，脑袋“轰”的一声，泪花夺眶而出。当时，我真希望自已再次回到从前，和姐姐、哥哥一起快乐地玩。
为了大家可以过一个没有负担的快乐暑假，我们可以让老师少布置一点作业。多些玩的时间，少些做作业的时间，这样暑假就会真正成为我们“快乐的天堂”，而不是“作业的地狱”。
