1、从文本出发，整体呈现，注重理解。进入文本准确直接，时间分布合理。
2、活动设计丰富，听说读写并行。多数教师能根据学生实际设计活动，层层递进，培养
学生在相对真实的环境中运用英语的能力。 如：调查表、听记、仿写、复述等活动的安排，都较好地培养了学生运用英语的能力。
3、教学效果显著。通过语篇教学，提高了孩子们的口头表达能力，阅读能力和写作能力。
问题：
1、部分教师专业素质有待提高。语音语调不标准；出现知识性错误；指令性语言要求不到位。对学生的错误不能及时纠正。
2、对教材理解、把握不到位。不能充分利用教材资源，课堂设计不完整。对于教材中出现的chant， poem， game等没能很好的利用。
3、教学目标不明确，缺乏课堂主线。脱离教材，打破篇章结构，没能体现语篇教学的特点。
4、活动设计不科学，学生积极性调动不足，师生活动比例失调。活动过程不完整，结构混乱，缺乏层次性，学习效果不明显。个别活动只注重了趣味性、游戏性，忽视了目的性和有效性。
5、板书设计不合理。板书设计应呈现完整的目标语句，而不是简单的一个词、两个词或几幅图；有的只有标题，无实际内容；有的出现书写错误。
