森林小学三年级(1班的班主任宣布：“学习到此结束，暑假正式开始。”
话音刚落，教室里就炸开了锅，同学们叽叽喳喳说个不停，大声地谈论着假期将到哪儿玩，可开心了。小猪、小兔、小猫同学飞快地整理完书包，手拉手，唱着歌，离开了教室。不一会儿，大家就走得差不多了。但是小狗收拾好书包，却皱着眉低着头，慢慢地离开校园，好像很不情愿放假。
第二天清晨，小狗刚起床，狗妈妈就叫道：“快去写作业吧，下午还要弹古筝。”小狗说：“知道了。”写了大约三个小时。狗妈妈问：“作业写了多少了?”小狗说：“己经写的差不多了。”狗妈妈又说：“就写到这儿吧!，吃完午饭，我还要送你去弹古筝。”小狗无奈地小声回答：“知道了。”小狗吃过午饭后，狗妈妈就送小狗到古筝班去学弹古筝。到了古筝班，妈妈说：“好好学弹古筝，这可是妈妈从小的梦想，你一定要给妈妈争气呀!”小狗没有说话，轻轻地点了点头。音符从指间流过，像缓缓流淌的河水。可是，小狗心里却一点儿也不高兴。外面不时有小朋友们的笑声从窗口飘进小狗的`耳朵里，小狗羡慕不已。学了近二个小时的古筝，狗妈妈接小狗回家吃晚饭。
刚吃完晚饭，狗妈妈又说：“该到隔壁羊爷爷家去学书法了。”小狗无奈地跟着妈妈到羊爷爷家去学法。一个小时很快地过去了，小狗刚回到家，狗妈妈又说：“现在森林里竞争太激烈了，一定要多学点东西呀，再去写点作业吧!”小狗只好又去写作业了。小狗每天都这样忙碌着。
有一天，小狗突然生病了，住进了医院。狗妈妈一直守在小狗身旁，用温柔的目光看着她，小狗感觉温暖极了。于是，小狗对妈妈说：“生病真好，不用写作业，不用学弹古筝，不用学书法，生病还有妈妈陪伴。”听完小狗的话，狗妈妈愣住了…

summer can be very hot in southern taiwan where the temperature usually goes up to 32"c or more. because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. also because of this i stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky.
actually i like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. in the summer vacation that has just ended i went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. this summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. as a second-year senior student i had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. in other words, i must find time to study, too.
so i divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.

暑假是多种多样的，有快乐有悲伤。但令我印象最深刻的是去海上游玩。我的心情变得异常兴奋和开心。
那天下了一个上午的雨，下午雨过天，天空泛起宝石一般的蓝。我们出发了！途中，烈日炎炎的下午却使我那小小的心里充满了欢喜。因为一想到即将去大海，便不由自主地开心。终于到大海，我看见码头上有许多船。所有的船簇拥在一起，有大的也有小的。我又望望眼前的大海，听着呼啸的海浪声，我愈加感到大海的宏伟和博大。我迫不及待想要上轮船，当爸爸告诉我是哪艘船时我便马上跑到船前。啊！真大啊！相对我来说，船是个庞然大物了。船的样子十分像古代的阁楼，上船之后，我马上把船全都走了一遍。船启动了。我站在船头，海风迎面而来，真舒服。突然，有人说有个重要的东西忘记拿了，船只好掉头回去。像是有人打扰了我的美梦，我显得极不开心。等那人拿了东西后，船又开始出海了。我又终于放心没人打扰我的美梦了。走了许久，看见远处有几座小岛。岛上树木很茂盛，一片碧绿。这些小岛就像是镶嵌在海上的一颗颗绿宝石，给大海增添华丽的`色彩。还有一些海鸥在轮船后飞着。像在跟轮船赛跑。凉风习习、鸟声啁啾让人心旷神怡。船集在一个小岛前，这里空气十分清新。有人已经开始钓鱼，有人下水游泳。一位叔叔朝游泳的人喊有鲨鱼啊！游过去啦！那些游泳的一副惊慌的样子，我们船上的人都笑了。如果画家把这个场面画下来，那么这幅画一定很美很美。
回去时，已是今晚，夕阳落山，洒下万丈霞光，大海顿时成了色彩斑斓的舞台。流动着霞光异彩。此时此刻，天上的余光，海中的波光，交织成人间最动人的美景。这时，海鸥又来了，然而这次它们不是来赛跑而是捕食。因为船的螺旋桨把鱼带上来，海鸥就有了可乘之机啊！此时岸边都蒙上了一层火色的纱幔，景色变得迷离起来。但是灯火辉煌。给傍晚的大海又增添了另一番绚丽的光彩。天空从艳红变变为淡红，从橙黄退到淡黄，从浅蓝转成深蓝，直到变黑，船便靠岸了。我带着满怀的好情情回家了。

在英语村里，模拟了现实生活中的四个场景——“城市馆”、“自然馆”、“生活馆”和“商业馆”，四个场馆中的部分物品和布景都是实物，每个场馆又被分成几个场景，外教和中教轮流授课，我们这次可真是与英语世界来了个亲密接触。在全英语的语言环境和实物情境下，我们对学习英语的兴趣变得前所未有的高涨。就比如说在城市馆里吧，刚进城市馆，一个美丽的大都市——上海的模型立刻呈现在我们的面前，那一个个地标性建筑物的模型，在镭射灯光的映衬下是显得格外的雄伟壮丽，你甚至猜想不到的是在城市馆里居然会有一节能移动的地铁车厢，在最后一节课中，老师终于带着我们“乘坐”了一次地铁，这“地铁”中，老师不停的作者令人捧腹的`动作，使得大家都争先恐后的想“乘坐”一次平时已经坐得习以为常的地铁。每当外教拉开悬挂的粉红色幕布时，或旋转布景板进行场景切换时，我们都会发出声声惊叹，因为，我们以前从来没有这样学习过英语。在商业馆的超市里，甚至可以看到真实的收银机等等实物，我们真实地体验着用英语对话来购物的整个流程，我们扮演着不同的角色，来学习这个角色所要说得话；在生活馆里，老师会用英语生动地为我们介绍各式厨具用品，并且还和我们做游戏，让我们在游戏当中来巩固与加深你对这个英语单词的印象，如果你读得好的话，老师会和你拍手，表示鼓励；在自然馆中，我们仿佛亲身来到了大自然中，有热带雨林，有北极，海洋，在教室的墙上还贴着国家的地图和标着英语单词的国旗名称，在自然馆中最有趣的还是要数在进门时有一座假山，不高的假山上悬挂着一个吊绳，仿佛可以真的用来攀岩一般。我们不时为老师们幽默、生动的语言、表情和肢体动作爆发出阵阵笑声，为同学的精彩表现鼓掌加油。
通过这次活动，让我们在现实生活中快乐的学习了一次英语，也然我的英语水平提高了不少，希望以后这样的实践活动多一些，能够我们丰富我们的课外生活。我期待着有更多的同学能来到这个英语村里来，让他们也体验到更多学习英语的快乐！
