从前有个小女孩叫莫阿娜，小时候就喜欢听奶奶讲鬼故事。然后有一天奶奶讲的故事让她明白了“苟……”的道理。小女孩喜欢穿红衣服玩水，有天她来到海边，大海用小螺号指引她拿到了——一个炉石(抱歉我觉得这玩意太像炉石了，这时她还没有意识到，自己已经被大海钦定了。
时过境迁，女孩长大了，爸爸对她说：大家都决定啦，莫阿娜来当酋长，吼不吼啊?大家都说吼啊。然后爸爸就把莫阿娜带到酋长所在的山头上，说莫阿娜要遵守基本法啊，不能到处乱跑，帮助族人们闷声发大财才是最好的。但是不久之后大家就不能发大财了，因为受到了诅咒。莫阿娜提出向外面航海，父亲很angry，怒斥莫阿娜图样图森破。然而奶奶却告诉她，你是被钦定的，理应出去找到毛伊先生，让他来当航海，完成既定的旅程。
毛伊先生是个大个子，起先他并不喜欢莫阿娜，也是因为她图样。但是后来他意识到莫阿娜是被大海钦定的，也就接受了这一事实。毛伊可以变身，因为他认为真正的粉丝，无论他变成什么样子都会被认出来。他们经历了一系列的冒险，最终来到了大boss——炎魔之王拉格纳罗斯的巢穴。不幸的是，由于双方的观点出了些问题，毛伊的刀失去了一耐久，俩人吵起来后毛伊用比西方记者还快的速度跑了。莫阿娜就非常伤心，但是想到自己是钦定的主角，就自己一人去干，然后毛伊又不知怎么用香港记者的速度跑了回来，但是两人还是干不过炎魔之王，毕竟这厮可以随机打8不受伤。关键时刻，莫阿娜掏出了炉石，大喊：信仰圣光吧!你猜怎么着?拉格纳罗斯变成了光耀之主，疯狂奶人，把四周全部奶回来了，还给了毛伊一把灰烬使者，这把5/3的刀不知比原来3/2的小斧子高到哪里去了。结局大家都很高兴啊，我们也明白了一个道理，那就是苟……
