第二天，我们心来潮，早上5:00点还没到就起床了。我们洗漱完后，穿了一身运动装，兴冲冲地来到了，公路上跑了起来。一路上我们看着风景，哼着小曲，悠闲地跑着。在我们跑的时候还有其他来跑步的人，有几个妈妈认识的人，他们都向我们点点头，算是打招呼。
当我们跑到小学的门口时，一条野狗朝着我跑来，吓得我落荒而逃。而那条狗却以为我是在和他闹着玩。我想：这么跑下去可不行，我毕竟跑不过一条狗啊。这时，我想起以前在网上看见过：如果被狗给追了，只要马上蹲下就行了。要不我就试试吧，但真的有这么有效吗?我怀着怀疑的`心情蹲了下来，谁知，那只狗刚看见我停下便也停了下来，后来，还是妈妈把那只狗给赶走了。虽然被狗赶走了，但我还是心有余悸。
跑着跑着，我便跑不动了，一方面可能是由于自己的耐力不够，另一方面可能是因为刚刚被狗追了损耗了体力。正当我想要停下来的时候，一位老爷爷从我们的身边经过。我看他也是满头大汗、气喘吁吁地在跑步。我想：连老爷爷都坚持的了，难道我这个小伙子都坚持不下去么？我一咬牙，又往前跑了几步。
到了家，我我马上脱下了身上的衣服,洗了个澡。随后躺着在床上，喝了点水，休息一会儿。心想：我刚刚竟然坚持下来了，我可真是太佩服我自己了！
耐心是一切聪明才智的基础。我坚信，只要坚持了就会胜利。
