古时繁华的丝绸之路，现在已经变成了一片大沙漠，这不禁勾起了我对丝绸之路的怀念。
夜里，我迷迷糊糊地睡着了。突然，眼前一道红光闪过，紧接着我就失去知觉了。等我醒来时，发现自己已经成了一位西域商人了。我高鼻凹眼，身穿长襟大褂，骑着一匹高大的骆驼，后面还跟着五匹骆驼，都满载着西域的特产。前面是一个高大的城楼，我见了，心中疑惑极了：我这是到了哪儿？再仔细一看，城门上挂着一块匾牌，上书两个大字——长安。噢，原来是富裕的汉朝都城长安啊！进了城，热闹非凡。男女老少们穿着各色的衣裳，在街上来来往往。路旁的摊位上摆着琳琅满目的商品：丝绸、纸张、葡萄、石榴、无花果……
商人们正热情地招揽顾客呢。街道一旁，正有几个艺人耍枪舞棒呢，引得路人阵阵叫好。
见到别人这么忙，我也不甘落后，赶紧找了个空地方，做起生意来。我卖的是胡椒、蚕豆、黄瓜、无花果。因为我卖得合理、薄利多销，又是我们西域的最好品种，所以，才一袋烟的功夫，我就把我的全部货物与一个财大气粗的汉商交换了，换了几匹质量上好的丝绸。我高兴极了，决定第二天早晨就返程，回到我的国家，下次再狠赚一笔。
转眼就到了第二天，我带着六匹满载货物的骆驼启程了，当我快活地走出长安城时，又是红光一闪。我醒了，原来这是一场梦呀！我仿佛又看到了当年丝绸之路上商旅不绝的景象，仿佛听到了飘忽在大漠中的悠悠驼铃声……
